This Antique French 950 Silver Wine Taster (Tastevin) by Théodore TONNELIER features a beautifully textured interior with dotted bands and a unique serpent-shaped handle. The body is monogrammed “R.A.B.” adding a personal historical touch. It bears hallmarks of the first standard Viellard (Michel-Ange) from Paris (1819-1838) and the Cérès mark, confirming its authenticity and the maker’s mark “TT” for Théodore TONNELIER (active 1798, Paris).

Condition : This item is in excellent antique condition for its nearly 200-year age, though it shows slight deformation, scratches, and oxidation typical of its time. Please carefully examine photo no.7, as it highlights the noticeable deformation of the taster’s body. The exterior bottom has noticeable scratch marks. Overall, it remains sturdy and beautiful for use or collection.
