This Antique Georgian French 950 Silver Wine Taster (Tastevin) by Charles-Marie Guidée features a beautifully textured interior with dotted bands and a simple reeded scroll handle. The scalloped terminal inside the bowl adds elegance. The body is engraved “J. Lapoix” adding a personal historical touch. It bears hallmarks of the first standard Viellard (Michel-Ange) from Paris (1819-1838) and the Cérès mark, confirming its authenticity and maker’s mark.

Condition : This item is in good antique condition for its nearly 200-year age, though it shows slight deformation, scratches, and oxidation typical of its time. Please carefully examine photo no. 8, as it highlights the noticeable deformation of the taster’s body. Overall, it remains sturdy and beautiful for use or collection.
