A fine set of twelve French fruit or jam spoons in silver gilt (vermeil), crafted by François Pamphile Jozan, silversmith active in Paris between 1836 and 1847.
The handles are richly decorated with interlacing motifs, scrolls, and vine leaves, and the entire spoon is gilded in vermeil, combining refinement with durability.
Each piece bears the “Raphaël” hallmark for 800/1000 silver (Paris, 1819–1838), along with the medium guarantee mark and the mark for small works, confirming their authenticity and silver content.
An elegant and collectible suite of 19th-century Parisian silver, perfect for collectors and connoisseurs of fine French silverware.
Condition : The set is in good antique condition, with light scratches, tarnish, and slight deformations typical of handmade work. Some gilding has faded but still shows a gold sheen. One spoon bears a mark from a removed sticker on the back of the handle (see photos). Tarnish and marks could be reduced with careful cleaning.
The box shows wear but remains sturdy and functional.
